fan introduction
How did
I get into Rainie Yang? Well, it should have happened a lot longer ago than it did. I, being an avid Cpop fan, was browsing a website one day when I came across a link to sample Rainie's album, "Ai Mei". To tell you the absolute truth, I passed. I thought it was going to be too poppy, too cheesy, too...blah. I am a very picky music person, especially with pop music, so I just figured this "Rainie Yang" girl was nothing to look into. However, I was wrong.
A few months after I first saw that website, I became
desperate for new music. I would have taken anything at that point. So, I went back to that very website and downloaded Rainie's album. From the first time I heard "Ai Mei", I fell in love with Rainie. I listened to the whole album before deciding I needed her next album, "Meeting Love". After getting it in April 2006, I became an even bigger Rainie fan, as I was becoming somewhat obsessed with her music. I knew I had found a star.
Even though Rainie has only three solo albums, she's not very new to the world of entertainment. Rainie, who was previously in the band "4 in Love", is also an actress and guest talk show host. I couldn't believe I hadn't gotten "into" her music earlier, and I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and did!
If you like Cpop, and are wanting a good artist to listen to, definitely check out Rainie's "Ai Mei" album, especially the title track. The innocence of her voice and the melodies are so fabulous, I would highly reccommend them to anyone. I hope more people discover Rainie like I did, and listen to her music. She really is a shining star.
