If you've read the Fan Intro on the biography page of Rainie-Yang.net, you'll know how I got into Rainie in the first place, so I'll start from there.
After only listening to Rainie for a few weeks, and becoming utterly obsessed with her, I decided I wanted to run a fanlisting for her. Turns out, the fanlisting for Rainie was open for application after the old fanlisting was removed from The Fanlistings Network. I was ecstatic, so I applied immediately. Luckily, I was approved, and started to create this site the day of my approval.
Let's back up a little. I switched hosts from ResellerZoom.com to Dreamhost.com due to bandwidth issues. When I bought my plan with Dreamhost, I was given the option to register one domain, free for a year. When I was approved for the Rainie listing, I decided to use my registration for that. I polled some of my friends about what domain I should get, and when Rainie-Yang.net was the obvious choice, Rainie-Yang.net was born.
This site was created in about a week in early May 2006. I was determined to get the site up fast, and I did. :) Hopefully Rainie-Yang.net will be around for a long time and will help bring news and media about Rainie to her English speaking fans around the globe!
